FirstPay’s S-Series Sorters are digital sorting machines with advanced cameras and sensors that swiftly and accurately identify, count, batch and sort banknotes and coin by orientation, denomination and currency and automatically reject suspicious and damaged notes or coins.
Banknotes are processed at high speeds
Banknotes are processed at high speeds by the S-Note range of note sorters, which can count up to 1,200 notes per minute, identify different currencies, detect forgery and validate fitness, which sees notes graded either as reliable for recirculation, or unfit due to wear and/or damage. The S-Coin range comes in three size options, with a maximum sorting ability of 950 coins per minute.
Powering retail back-office
Our S-Series Sorters support both retail back-office and self-service banking operations by providing transaction logs, audit trails, and compliance for cash-in-transit (CIT), cash centres, and central banks. This enables faster pickup and delivery while improving security.
Many models also include serial number recognition to verify notes and coins and improve traceability, auditing, and reconciliation.
