Simplified high-speed sorting
Processing large volumes of coins requires speed, accuracy and reliable validation. Traditional manual sorting slows operations, increases costs and leaves room for errors, allowing counterfeit and damaged coins to enter circulation.
This automated 9-pocket sorter with a dedicated reject box removes the need for manual handling. Processing coins at speeds of up to 950 per minute, with a deposit inlet capacity of 450 coins the S-Coin 9 has a hopper extension that can increase this by a further 600 coins for higher-volume handling.
Using a hard inclined rail sorting method, the system delivers consistent, high-speed separation. The S-Coin 9 validates, organises and separates coins as they are processed, accurately batching totals and producing clear records. Counterfeit, damaged or unfit coins, along with foreign currency and debris such as paperclips, are automatically detected and rejected.
Each pocket holds up to 300 sorted coins, giving a total capacity of 2,700 coins. For greater flexibility, this can be expanded to 2,000 coins per pocket using extensions that feed directly into coin bags or boxes.
This setup supports efficient end-of-day reconciliation with deposit-ready cash. The S-Coin 9 is suited to a wide range of environments where coins are handled at volume, including retail back offices, banking, foreign exchange, casinos and cash centres.
The system can be configured for a wide range of currencies to suit operational requirements.
